Authors will tell you that waiting for the publication of a new book is like expecting the birth of a child. Well, I've been in labor for 8 years now folks! I submitted the first 10 pages of my book When the Magic Finds Them to a writing group and a couple of different publishers and they all told me the same thing. My writing was fun, my characterization was great, but I had a couple of problems. There were way too many key characters in my book. And it was written in third person omniscient. So, right now I'm waiting for my proof to arrive. I'd like to say the birth part is over.. yep, actually I think it is. Now I'm just waiting for them to put my baby in my arms.
